Maintenance Technician

Ideal candidate will be available to work a Monday through Friday, 8:30am - 5:30pm shift with occasional weekend work to be substituted for a weekday (based on need). We are looking for dynamic and enthusiastic individuals who possess a genuine interest in working with Seniors and their family members in one of the premier senior living communities in the entire Southeast. This twenty-five acre community opened in August 2016 and provides superior care for Independent Living, Assisted Living and Memory Care senior adults. We are currently hiring a Maintenance Worker for our property. This position will report to the Maintenance Director and will be assigned various tasks within four main buildings and cottages. Qualified candidate will have experience working on large and small jobs and be comfortable working with a team and also on their own. Must be professional and portray a positive image at all times through appearance, dress and attitude. Must possess a team player attitude and strive to motivate and work well with all staff. Exact schedules will be discussed during interviews. Must establish and enjoy good rapport with resident clientele. Successful candidate will have a compassionate nature, desire to work with the senior community and take ownership of their duties in order of our residents to enjoy a worry-free lifestyle.
High school diploma or equivalent required. Must be able to stand for long periods of time. Must be able to routinely lift and move objects weighing up to 50 lbs. Ability to speak, read and understand the English language is required.

Certified Nursing Assistant/Certified Medication Assistant

Sterling Estates is seeking full-time C.N.A.'s to assist our residents with activities of daily living. Successful candidates will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be able to demonstrate patience and maturity in difficult situations, be confident of skills & have a willingness to learn new procedures. Successful candidates must possess the ability to take on multiple responsibilities within the community and be able to work together as a team to share their genuine compassion and care with those for whom we are privileged to work.

The primary purpose of the Certified Nurses Assistant (CNA) is to provide the residents with routine daily nursing care and services in accordance with the resident’s assessment and care plan and as may be directed by your supervisors.

Care Partners (CNAs)

We are looking for individuals who possess the caring heart to work with our seniors in a dedicated Memory Care environment. The position will assist our residents with personal care, nurturing them with encouragement, and promoting their independence. We have full-time positions available for 1st, 2nd and 3rd shifts for compassionate, energetic, flexible, and reliable CNAs.

Successful candidates will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be able to demonstrate patience and maturity in difficult situations, be confident of skills and have a willingness to learn new procedures. Valet/Meal Delivery/Dining Support

Need some extra income and looking for evening part-time hours?
We are needing a friendly Valet/Runner/Dishwasher to park resident's vehicles between 5pm - 8pm when they arrive to our on campus restaurant. You will also help with delivering meals to on-site residents with golf carts and also help in dining area with serving and/or dishwashing. Must be 16 years of age with valid driver's license.
Part-time opportunities are available. We do serve lunch and dinner Monday-Saturday and Sunday is a one meal brunch service.

Resident Care Coordinator (LPN) Immediate start: Full-Time hours, Monday - Friday day shifts.

Location: The Grande, Memory Care

As the Resident Care Coordinator of The Grande at Sterling Estates, you will be responsible for leading the team of Care Partners (CNAs) to ensure our residents receive the care that Sterling Estates is known for. The Grande at Sterling Estates, Memory Care, is teamed with the Center of Excellence and Dr. John Zeisel of the Hearthstone Institute who wrote the book, I’m Still Here.
Must have strong supervisory experience leading a team and must be willing to work flexible hours, including some weekends.
This position requires a strong knowledge of pharmacology, oral medication, and MARs as well as experience managing Alzheimer’s and Dementia. Strong communication skills (both verbal and written) are required for interacting with resident’s, families, pharmacies, doctors, home health agencies, rehabs and hospice providers.
Must have strong organizational skills, capable of being on-call at all times, handling frequent interruptions, as well as confidence in his/her own physical and situational assessments.
