The Kiwanis Club of Lost Mountain and the Sterling Estates of West Cobb Needle Club got together earlier this spring on a project to make dolls for Cobb Emergency Services. The ladies of the needle club constructed 52 dolls, each with a Kiwanis label, to be used as possible evidence by police and fire personnel when given to children needing comfort. The dolls were presented to the Kiwanis Club in late May. From left are Josephine Lauer, Kathleen O’Shaughnessy, Ruth Buehler, Janet Eveland, Beverly Page and Margie Brown.
